I think summer is finally here. How do I know? This is what I found in my computer room yesterday.
And this is what I found in my front yard.
Carter wowing the girls as always.

I had Jax almost laughing yesterday too. He had the biggest smile I've seen since his injury. If your new to our blog you know smiling is a big deal around here. Of course as soon as daddy grabbed the camera he didn't give as good of smiles, but still better than before.
Oh, and still no word yet on where we will be traveling for surgery. But I called my case manager for my insurance and gave her a heads up on it because we will have to go through the preapprovel process. Fun stuff.

How cute! The mountains in the background are beautiful! I'm gonna have to come and see them!
It's not warm enough for sprinklers here yet, but it's supposed to be some time this week!
I am so jealous of the view that you have from your yard! Those mountains are marvelous!
And, that video is precious! I saw those happy faces! YAY! I am so happy for you that he is doing more of this! When Gavin started to this again, it made me feel SO HAPPY! I think Jaxson is one happy boy and I can see that he is loved very much!
Ohhhhh! The smile!! I am thrilled to see it. :)
Oh Jaxson such beautiful smiles, adorable video.
Yeah for laughter and smiles!!! And can I just tell you how amazing your view is?? Those Mt's are BEAUTIFUL!!! Can I move in?
What a beautiful view! The kids are having a blast and Jaxson looks so happy.
What a blast your kids were having! I love the video clip of Jaxson! It just warms your heart I bet when you see him smile! I warmed mine.
You don't know me, but I have been following your blog. I also have a down syndrome son. We went to Denver Children's Hospital in January to fix my son's ASD (whole in his heart). He also has pulminary hypertension. I just wanted to give you a tip on getting the preapproval from your insurance company. Get ALL the stuff approved! Not just the hospital part, but physicians and lab/x-ray/echo. Check out my blog sometime! It's more about my family but I have posted lots of things about my little one with d.s. He is 2 years old.
Your son is a very handsome little man..he reminds me so much of Zachery when he was younger.. I've gotten to know a lady her son had down syndrome and also has the same heart defect as your son.. they are going to Boston for the heart surgery real soon. I'm going to tell her about your blog if that is ok.
summer is so fun! I love, love, love the video of Jax. I saw some little smiles...maybe not as big as you want but they are there. So fun!
Oh Lacey - what an adorable and beautiful video clip of Jaxson, his smiles are gorgeous... wow the view from your front yard is stunning! The mountains are beauitfrul! Lucky you to wake up to that each morning! Hugs to Jaxson! Megan and Keaton
That's right, in my house too. A trail of clothes leading to wet screaming kids is a sure sign of summer. The video is priceless, what a sweetpea!!!!!He really is an angel. And what a view of the mountains! It's beautiful. It looks like a backdrop.Wow!
I love Jax's smiles! Beautiful.
I am hoping that we will be able to go out and enjoy some real summer weather soon. It's been pretty crappy here in Mi.
We live in a rural part of NM. The northwest corner in Farmington. We don't have a pediatric cardiologist so we go to Albuquerque to see one. They don't have a surgeon to do the ped. heart surgery so we decided to go to Denver for his surgery. I see you live in West Jordan? Can they not do your son's surgery in SLC? We also chose Denver because they have a ped. pulmonary dr. Dr. Ivy is who we have been working with.
Lily doesn't want to go to school anymore now that it's warm she just wants to swim! Love the video!
Wow, he is getting big Lacey! He is so stinking cute, I wish I could give him little kisses all over. Thanks for sharing. And if you go to Boston, I am sure I can find the time to go visit you guys. Mel and I will take a road trip :)
