What would a holiday be without wondering if your going to spend it in the hospital. Isn't it sad that that is how we live? I think so, but its so true.
Jaxson is definitely coming down with something. It started with this coughing. Today I took him to get a monthly blood draw and he started wretching. Luckily his nissen held it all down. I vented his toobie and got 60 cc's of formula out. There shouldn't be that much in his belly, thats why we run it over an hour. His tummy can't tolerate much in it. So thats my second sign. When he gets sick his gut just shuts down.
Tonight he has a fever of 101.5, lots of junk, and horribly fast respirations. So far his sats are holding on his normal oxygen, but we are just getting started with this. He wakes up, coughs for a minute, then goes back to sleep.
We'll see were we are for Thanksgiving this year.

No No NO! Praying for Jax's health.
Ugh, I feel your pain. We have gone from "almost normal" kind of healthy to continuous pulse ox, breathing treatment 24/7 and on the verge of going back on O2.
If it keeps up we may be spending our holiday inpatient. Too bad we don't live closer, at least we could be together!
Poor little guy!! And poor mommy too. I hope it doesn't get too bad but at least he is in good hands. I will pray that your Thanksgiving will be spent at home!! Have a great one by the way.
This is Joyce. So sad to read this. We too have spent our fair share of holidays in the hospital. It sure is no fun for you or the rest of the family. I'll be praying for homebound instead.
Prayers are being said for little Jaxson...so sorry to hear he isn't feeling good...We will be thinking about you...
Poor Jax. I sure hope he doesn't end up in the hospital for Thanksgiving. Keep us posted as I know you will... xoxo
Thinking of you and praying you stay put.Love you guys.
Praying, praying, praying.
I'm so sorry :(
Oh no. I am praying that you get to stay home. That is good that his 02 is holding ground right now, but the coughing and fever suck. Come on Jaxson, beat the flu. Sending hugs to you and praying for your family and that you get to spend your time at home.
so crazy..minutes after I read this and posted, Wysdom started to fuss and I took out about 50cc of milk and he threw up the rest. How crazy is that.:)I dont know why, but just felt like sharing.
OH NO!!! Jax, fight hard and get better and try to stay home! No hospitals!!!
I'll be praying Lacey! There is nothing worse than spending holidays in the hospital! HUGS!!!
No Way!!! Jax don't pull a stunt like this Now!!
Lacey, sending fast prayers!!! Gosh I don't want you guys in the hospital for Thanksgiving. Keep us posted on the little Man!!!
Nooooooo! We pray Jax gets better soon and that no hospital trips are needed. Ugh after such a great week last week. Thankful that he was healthy for his party!
Hang in there Lacey and Jax!
Carson just got out of the hospital for his asthma and they were certainly in no rush to release him. The dr joked and said that he would try and get us out by Thanksgiving. We have been placed on O2 for the first time ever while home. I'm now trying to deal with all of this all over again.
Keeping my fingers crossed and saying prayers that Jax starts feeling better.
Call me if you need anything or just wanna talk.(816-616-7346)
I have been dealing impetigo, staph infection, and Carson's out of control asthma. And don't forget that Cody, Carson, and I all had confirmed H1N1....that was the worst for me.
Then of course Cody has been taxi-ed to St Louis twice, Wichita, and Mephis for soccer tournaments. So, I have tried so many times to sit down and blog and just not getting anywhere. :-(
Anyways, I hope everyone else is doing well and I will be sending good vibes your way for a healthy holiday.
Hugs
