Man, I'm exhausted this weekend. I've been getting these headaches. And at the same time I get what feels like heart palpitations. I can literally feel my heart pounding in my chest. I don't know what is causing what, or if there even related, but they do seem to come together. I don't know if its stress, or what. But do you think I'll go to the doctor? Probably not.
I'm excited because I finally got the call that Jax stroller is in. It will take them a week to put it together, we go in on Thursday to have him fitted and show me how to take it apart and everything. I'm so excited to finally have a stroller that is equiped for him with and oxygen tank holder and a place to put his feeding bag.
I also took all four boys to the dentist on Thursday, yeah, I'm a little crazy. But they did fine. Even Tanner is getting used to the dentist and he doesn't freak out. Four boys and no cavaties, wahoo. Jax teeth look good, their not getting worn down from him grinding his teeth either.
Today we took the boys to This is the place. Its were the pioneers came into Utah. Mondo has been wanting to go there for a while now. It was pretty fun. Daddy took the pics in black and white to try and set the "mood" for the old days.
Tanner trying to get dirt out of his shoes. Oh autistic kids.
Carter on the pony

Carter and Mondo are on that train somewhere.

Mondo being the dunce at school. That better not be right at his real school.

My little munchkin. He got a little overheated again today. Thankfully they had misters that sprayed water so I could cool him off a little.

Carter getting an old fashioned shave. I know he thinks he's older than he is but this is ridiculous.

After we left there me and Jax stopped by the hospital to see his BFF Arianna. She had surgery Thursday. But they pulled her drain out while we were there and she's coming home tonight so they can play together soon.

Lacey - sorry to hear you aren't well. Could well be stress, but maybe you should go to the doc...just in case???
I was reading Ariana's blog this afternoon so thanks for the update that she is going home.
Great news about the new pram - I can't wait to see pics.

Lacey - LOVE the pics. Glad you guys are able to get out and do some stuff together. Sorry you're not feeling weel. It is probably stress, and I am not going to give you the "you have to take care of yourself to take care of Jaxson" talk - ooops, kind of just did. Sorry. Anyway, the next time you DO go to that doc, have them run a thyroid panel on you. The stress might be lowering your thyroid and it can cause both of those.

Still praying for good results from Boston!!!!

Hugs!

I love the pics, good idea to take them in black and white.
If your anything like me you'll never get yourself to the doctors.
it's probably all stress... you've had a little of that lately, don't you think. BUT, if it continues, I'd say go for a quick check.. will ya!

Lacey sounds like this are a little less crazy in both of our worlds lately. I love your pictures. You can tell your children love Jax. There is something about our miracle babies and the bond they have with everyone.

Now girl you HAVE to go to the doctor. You have too much riding here. I too have a tendency to bail out when something arises with me but US Moms have to keep our bodies healthy. AND even if it is stress which hey that would explain lots of things right? You still need to get maybe a echo of that wonderful, caring, loving heart of your. Please make us all feel better and make and appointment. Even though we have never met I care so deeply about you and your family. Praying for Jax and you girl.

That looks like a lot of fun :0)

YAY for the stroller coming in!!! I can't wait to see a picture of Jax in it!!! :0)

I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well.... :0(

Avery put my dad into the hospital on Friday......We were over there hanging out and swimming and my dad LOVES playing with the kids........He has heart problems....He had a triple bypass about 2 years ago........And he is a diabetic........So he REALLY overdid it with playing with the kids and 911 had to be called....He had to take a NITRO for chest pains and he felt like his heart was going to jump right out of his chest... Thank God it was only angina (sp?) and he came home from the hospital last night.......

Remember you have to make time to take care of yourself too......I know how hard it can be...It's hard for me to even be able to go to the dentist...

I hope your Sunday is a good one :0)

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I'm not medically educated, but speaking from experience, it sounds like pure anxiety attacks. Please, try to take care of yourself and try to get to the doctor. I'll be praying for you to feel much better soon.

So glad the stroller is in!! That will be so nice to have! You need to get you and your boys up here so they can play very soon...you can relax, let me love Jax and we can meet!!! Loved all the black and white pics...so cute. Amazing what those pioneers went through so many years ago to get here! I am not sure I could have done it, eh!

That's too bad that you haven't been feeling well. Sorry to hear that. My oldest has been to This is the Place for field trips. She wants us to go as a family so bad! We'll have to do that. Hope you enjoy his new stroller!

Lacey, I dont want to sound like a dramatist, but YES, you should definately have it checked out. I was having the same symptoms (thinking it was just stress from having a baby like Evie) and found out that I have a pretty serious heart defect myself! Jaxson needs a healthy momma! Make sure you're taking care of yourself too! Prayers!

Loving our sweet blanket!

Sounds like stress to me, but I would still see a doctor if it continued. You can never be too sure and it's better to be safe. Hooray for no cavities and the pictures are really neat!

Oh I love the pictures! We haven't ever been to This is the Place - but it looks like a lot of fun. We will have to go sometime - that would be a fun family activity.

And how did you do four boys and no cavities - kudos to you!!

I'm so glad Jaxson's stroller is in - that will be so convenient to have a place for oxygen and feeding stuff. Can't wait to see pictures of him in his new wheels!!

That is weird about the headaches and heart palpitations - could very well be stress - you have a lot on your plate.

Give hugs to Jaxson from us!!

I'm so glad to hear you all got out and had some fun, we did a little of that today ourselves.
You seriously need to take care of yourself. I get it though, there's always something more important, i know. Just remember, Jax needs a healthy strong Mom so please take care.
Love and hugs to you and all your guys!

Haven't forgotten you girlie....Gonna send you directions on the "cooling vest"...

Jophies last wheelchair was over 7,000 and IF we ever get our hands on this new one its more...His insurance does cover one every 5 years...

The Meals4Wheels is for "transportation" wheels as in vehicle ;)

Jophies chair no longer fits in our van and can't be locked down and because of his declining health he can no longer sit in the chair for long periods.

We currently push the chair into the van....Tilt it back almost till its at a half way tipped point so as not to rip his head off.....Nurse then lifts him outta the chair which is a chore in itself(He's over 100 pounds and a floppy/spastic tubies poking outta every orafice bag of taters!)LOL

Next we have to lie him on the back seat....Position on his side then wrangle 3 seat belts inluding the shoulder belt in strategic spots on his body so he's as safe as we can possibly make him AND so as not to hurt him.

Next the wheelchair has to go back in and it "barely" fits side to side...Its spose to fit front to back and lock down...His next chair is bigger and more than likely won't even fit in there at all...

Next comes all the equipment that has to be crammed in and around him...

Phew! It takes 30 minutes and at times more like an hour just to get him loaded....

Are we there yet? LOL

THAT is what the 8,000 is for....

Our plan is to get a wreck and my friends dad is going to fix it up....We're sizing down since he can't ride in the chair anyways....Wheelchair dude says nothing smaller than a small SUV or a Crossover. He's putting one of those lifts on the back to haul the chair and his hoyer Advance which we'll have to take along as well to get him in and out....His PT is going to order him a side lying seat belt generally used for kids in spica casts....

In theory thats are plan....We are open to a used one IF it's the right fit....

For now we are just concentrating on getting enough cash to buy the wreck...

Love the pics by the way...I'm a black and white freak....I do photo shoots on the side in my spare time and am forever converting pics to B/W and am always trying to "push" them onto my customers! I'll make them into B/W photo lovers even if they don't wanna be...hehe

OK gotta scoot...Mr. Benadryl is is conspiring with Mr. Sandman on the easiest way to get me in the direction of my bed. Just glad I didn't have to call on Mr. Ativan tonight! ;0)

Hope your week is a great one....Promise I'll get some directions your way for the cooling vest..

Talk soon....

Hugs,
Trina and Jophie

I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling well! This makes caring for our special kiddos a whole lot more difficult! It sounds to me like stress or anxiety.....I mean, you have a ton on your plate right now! But, try to make time for a trip to the doc for yourself! I know this is easier sadi than done! It may be something minor, but they may be able to help you with it and make your life a little easier just by feeling better.

I can't wait to see Jax in his new stroller! Having a spot for his oxygen tanks will be great!

Those black and white pictures are great! What a fun place to visit! My boys would LOVE going to a place like that!

Still praying for you and Jax! Hang in there! Love and Hugs!!!
