Finally!!

Wow, has it really been this long?
Whew, its been crazy around here! We moved last weekend, and still aren't completely unpacked. Daddy's car got a shattered back windshield. And because its a convertible, the whole top has to be replaced. So he now has a rental until his can be fixed.
We are loving this house, its huge, and we finally have room to stretch out a little bit. Arina's room is so cute, when I finish, I'll put pictures up.

Jaxson is doing pretty dang good. We are set up to go back in June 11th to take another stab at starting the diet. He has an barium enema and neuro appointment this week. I'm a little nervous about the enema, this will see if he indeed had low lying hirshprungs disease. This test will determine what we do about his not pooping problem! He is constantly totally tangled in tubes, or pulling tubes out!

His new thing is sticking his finger in his eye. He doesn't actually stick it in his eye, but his lower lid, pulling it down. I'm not sure why he does this, if we could ever figure out a neurologically impaired kid, I'd be interested to know what he is thinking!

He also got a new machine recently. This is IPV, the same thing as the vest, but it only shakes the lungs. It blows pretty strong puffs of air into his lungs, loosening up the junk. I'm surprised at how well he tolerates it, because I don't know how you breathe over it!

Arina is still 2! That pretty much sums up this girl right now. She is naughty, naughty, naughty! And in between the naughty, she is absolutely delicious, and full of personality! She is already a drama queen. This is what happened when I took a cup away from her that she was playing with.

Oh my beloved cup! She is much more interested in cups, and the lids of Tupperware, than any toy! Thats fine, they are much cheaper anyway!

  1. so glad you got moved and the kids are doing well.
Jax you are a champ handling the IPV so well. Junior gets pretty ticked off about his and is constantly wiggling and trying to knock the mask off his face.

  5. Love the pics of your dramatic princess! She puts a smile on my face every time I see her sweet face!

Gavin does the same thing as Jax! He quite frequently brings his left hand up to his face, and puts his thumb partly in his mouth and his index finger right in his eye! His teacher said it's a stimulation thing and she has found that kids who have cortical blindness do it a lot. She says to try to stop him, but some days he is doing it all day long, so what am I supposed to do?! Crazy boys!

  8. Oh dear Kaelyn has a beloved cup exactly like that one that she used to drink her bath water with today (not what I had it in the tub for). She wasn't too happy when I had to take it away either! Love Arina's summer clothes. Glad Jax is doing well.
