Some Sunday fun

Sunday's are days we try to do something fun with the boys. We have season passes to a recreation park that expire in a couple of months so we thought we would get some use out of it and go swimming.
Its still a little to cold to get Jax in the water, the water parks in Utah seem to take forever to warm up, the water was freezing, so I didn't even put Jax in his sexy swimsuit (next time I'll be sure to take pics of him in it for you). So he just chilled on a towel on the grass.

Me and him just watched his big brothers play.

Tonight we pulled out this bike seat that we can put Jax in when we go for bike rides. We bought it on clearance at the end of the summer last year so its just getting out of the box today.
Uh, how does this thing work for a baby that can't sit up?

Man, this ain't comfy mom. Looks like I'm going to have to rig it, like everything else for him.

See, it is a good thing we kept the baby seat handy.

Ready to go mom. I tried it out around the block. Oh man, I am so out of shape. I really want to lose weight before we get too far into summer. Stress does wierd things to my body. The first year of Jax life when he was in the hospital months at a time, I got super skinny. My friends even were asking me if I was ok because I lost so much so fast. Now stress makes me munch. I'm really trying to stop, my body doesn't help at all with the self esteem issues. We need to get Tanner a new bike, get a bike rack for our car, and we are going bike riding whenever we can. I am bound to lose weight. Its also hard to have energy to do athletic stuff when your running 24/7 with 4 boys, one autistic son and one medically needy child.
Oh I'm tired just thinking about it, goodnight all.
Oh wait, to all our Utah friends (or anyone else that wants to come) I need you to send me a message saying what weekends you can't do a BBQ, we want to plan it on a Saturday that everyone can come. So let me know when you won't be available.

I look forward to hearing about a BBQ....you never know, we just might take a drive. Maybe Heather and Zoey can join us!!! Love how creative you are with Jax in the bike trailer.

I am glad you liked the pictures, she is in LOVE with the blanket. As you could tell from the pictures. Thank you so much again for it.

Jaxon looks so handsome in those pictures. You always dress him up like little prince charming. His mama has got some style!!

Your mom's cousin Kathy L. is my visiting teacher! I was telling her about the raffle today. She asked if I was talking about Lacey's Jaxson! Small world.

Very creative to use the car seat in the bike carrier! I can so relate to the losing weight and stress and self-esteem issues. I do the same thing. I lost weight after having Jayden and then gained a lot after he was in the hospital and then home. I munch when I'm stressed too. Wish I knew how to stop that! If you find out let me know!!

We just got a bike trailer to haul Carter in this summer - I am with you - got to get some weight off. I am the type that when I am stressed I munch and now I am paying for my stressed life.

We love the fitness center - that is where we spend many an afternoon in the summer.

And as far as Saturdays in the summer - we are going to be out of town June 13 and June 20 and July 4. If you plan a BBQ on a day we can come please be sure to tell us what we can do to help you or what we can bring to the BBQ.

I love the pictures of Jax in the bike trailer. He looks very comfy in the new and improved seat. That waterpark looks like a lot of fun. We have a big water park called Oceans of fun and Coltan got a season pass this year. I'm with you, I would like to try and lose 20 pounds before summer is in the full swing. I sit around sleep deprived and stressed and find myself wanting to eat all the time as well. We need to get together and support each other with our diets.

Anyways, I'm praying the everything goes well with Boston.
Miss you guys.

Love,

Kaci and Carson

Looks like fun in the sun! I just want to give Jax a big hug and a kiss...he is soooo cute! Nice job rigging the bike trailer. Hey, maybe the bbq will be when we are visiting. :-) If so, I am totally coming to say hi! And as far as the weight thing goes...grrrr! I hate weight stuff. It is crazy how stress does crazy things to your body. Good luck with the weight loss goals. You can do it!

What a great day! And, good thinking, Momma, about the infant car seat! That was perfect!

I really would love to come to your BBQ! But, maybe I'll see you in Michigan! Although, that wouldn't be as fun, since Jax would be having surgery!

Have a great day! I love all your pictures! Jax is so huggable!

That would be the same Kathy! She's stays at home now with her two little girls, but still super skinny and very sweet.

We took Justin for a ride in our bike trailer last week and he just screamed the entire time. He's quite fearful, so I guess that would do it! I don't see any weekend in my future that's busy, so we should be good for the BBQ!

Jax looks so cool in the bike carrier, and I love how you dress him, great wardrobe! I really need to loose 15-20 pounds or my summer is going to be very limited, maybe we could have long distance encouragement or something? Stress used to really work in my favor before, I couldn't eat, but now I'm just the opposite.

Love the bike trailer! We have one too but never thought to put Lily in there in her car seat. As far as the weight lose goes I say stay positive. I have been doing Weight Watchers since March after Lily came home from the hospital and I have lost 16.4 pounds. Doesn't seem like a lot but I am just happy that the weight is coming off even if it is slow. I know what you mean about packing on the weight due to stress. I did a lot of that when Lily was in the hospital. A positive attitude is half the battle so I say good luck and go for it!

What cute pictures! I have been freezing since we've been home...it just doesn't warm up fast here, does it?! And us being at 7000 feet we are even cooler up here...I am still thawing from winter! So our summer is pretty mellow, so you just throw out some weekends and we'll make it work!! I don't think we'll be doing too much this summer as we have to make some pretty big decisions. I take Preslie to see the heart doc tomorrow...we'll see what she says about the altitude and go from there!

I dont mind the 20 questions! :) We had tried to move about 2 years ago...had our house on the market for a year and 8 months, then decided it wasn't time, so we were just holding out until something came along. After being in Cali and Preslie doing so well, we started thinking about the 'relocating' again and Cali was 1st choice. My husband misses the beach sooo much and we are all tired of the snow. We owned an excavation company up here for a few years so not only did my husband live in all the snow, he worked in it too. He's wanted tomove for some time now, we just didn' tknow where. WE looked into Australia since he lived there for several years, but now with miss preslie, not sure how well that would work. I spent a good part of my childhood in So. Cali since I grew up in Phx, it was only a few hour drive, so I have always LOVED it.
Preslie has an ASD they are watching. But clearly the altitude is horrible for her. Plus, I think it's time for a change. No family out there, but new and old friends! :)
