Thankful Sunday

How fitting is it that Thanksgiving is the first holiday we will share with Arina? We have so much to be thankful for. Of course, life is never peachy all the time, I still have crap with insurance to fight about, bills that they don't want to cover. Jax is still puffy, and no real answers or doctors rushing to find out why. And some days that stuff seems overwhelming, and you have a bad day. But at bedtime, I look at my beautiful boys, and my beautiful new baby girl, and all that goes away.
I'm so thankful for a fantastic hubby, and fantastic boys.
I'm so thankful for my little warrior boy, who will be the big 5 in a couple of weeks. We never thought he would see his first birthday, and soon he will be 5!
I'm thankful for my new baby girl, who was so strong, living in an orphanage, and now sleeps in a soft bed and gets loves all day long!
I'm thankful for fantastic friends. Friends that texted and emailed all day when Arina came home, waiting for updates, and lending a shoulder when times are tough!

Now for the pictures!
These boys don't love their new baby sister at all!

This poor girl has been running nonstop since we got home. Saturday we had two parties. The first one was a birthday bash with Hopekids for kids with birthdays in Oct/Nov/Dec. Of course, Jax has a November birthday! The boys had a great time. There was laser tag, skating, and the blast zone, an area with these soft balls, and they have guns and cannons they can shoot at each other!

Happy early birthday to my sweet boy!

Big brother took Arina on her first big slide. She didn't cry, but she wasn't too sure about it!

Lovin that turkey and rice dinner!

  3. You have changed this one little girls life, she is so blessed. Yes it is really appropriate that she has come home for Thanksgiving.

The pictures are beautiful, it's all so perfect. Your boys seem so happy. The party looks like fun. Yes Arina must be really confused with all this going out suddenly from being inside fours walls and in a crib earlier to all these people all the time around her loving her, she truely is blessed and I give thanks for that, that another little child has been saved.
