Arina is doing great! We had a ped appointment today. So sad for her. Tons of labs, and tons of shots and x-rays. I was a little concerned because she sweats when she eats, which is a big sign of heart failure. Her heart size is not large, but it is a strange shape, so she needs her echo ASAP. The problems are, we think she has airway issues, and she needs to be sedated for the echo. So we need to get to ENT quick, before she is sedated. She also needs a swallow study because she sounds like she's choking when she drinks her bottle.
But she's beautiful, and the boys are getting a big kick out of her trick!!
Oh and a couple people asked how old she is. She is 13 months old!
To see her homecoming video, see previous post!
A little girl in Jace's class at school does the same rocking motion on her belly. :0) We call it her 'skydiver' move. So sweet to see those brothers fawning over their new princess...
ReplyDeleteOh, I could just watch her all day!! I can already tell that you are having fun dressing her. So what size is she wearing?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh look how cute she is in her cute girl clothes! I'm so happy for her.
ReplyDeleteI still want to get you a Lidl Dolly dress it you want - http://www.lidldollys.com/index.html
Oh my gosh ... look at her.Pivoting around and everything.and the bow ... LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe she is yours!!
She is too precious and the way your boys dote on her is wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteAs for the choking on bottle, Sweet Pea aspirates and so we now have to make everything honey thickness. I'm sure you have already tried this, a slower flow nipple? Sometimes that helps. Keep us posted on how all the appointments go and good luck fitting them all into your already busy schedule!
Give her a big hug from Sweet Pea & me!
Adorable! She will be up on her hands and knees taking off in no time. Glad she is fitting in so easily.
ReplyDeleteOh my!!!! She is precious. The love I see and hear in that video makes me want to cry. She is so lucky to have found a loving family.
ReplyDeleteThat little video brought a tear to my eye - so lovely for her to have a family, and brothers to play with after life in the orphanage. I'm sure she will thrive with you guys.
ReplyDeleteLook at her rock, how cute is she! The boys are clearly in love with her. :)

ReplyDeleteSo so cute! I started putting "simply thick" or "thick it" in Max's sippies and it seems to help the choking (get it at walgreens).

ReplyDeleteWe are doing our best to dr Jonah up so he will be good to go tomorrow. He has been sleeping most the day so thats always a good sign. plus by his party the anti biotics will be in his system for a whole 24 hours so thats a double plus! He should be ok, probly still using oxygen, but the lungs will hopefully be sounding better!
