They just called me this morning and said they can fit him in Thursday. I'm so glad they moved him up but now the freaking out has begun again. I was thinking yesterday at the movie, am I going to be able to take him to movies with us now? What if he needs to be suctioned during the movie? Do I take him out or what?
I'm thinking we may be home in time for Halloween which is nice, the butterflies are just going crazy in my stomach now. Its only an hour long surgery, but its lifechanging. Yikes.

ReplyDeleteYES! You'll still be able to take him places. Occasionally you'll have to leave for a moment to suction him, but it's not that big of a deal. Sometimes if there is a really loud part in the movie, I'll just suction Ben right in the theatre...nobody even notices. You'll find that you become a pro at becoming discreet. You can do it! I know you can!!! :)

ReplyDeleteYes, we waiting in line for about a 1/2 hour and then we decided to leave as we were way in the back. I was surprised that they only had one grill going. We ended up going to hires for lunch. :-) We did our own food and the 2 grills started up way before lunch and then we just kept them warm so we didn't have an issue. To bad as the food was free, I guess Red Robin just didn't play well.

ReplyDeleteThat's pretty quick, but maybe that's a good thing so you won't have all this extra time to just think about it happening. I know the more time I have to think about things the more worried I become at times. I'll be praying for everything to go well and that even though this will be much different for you that God will help lead you through this change as well.

My first thought when I read your title was yay!! And then before I even read your next line, I thought "oh, no...she is going to be worrying about her decision now" I am sure it is the right decision. Anything to help the poor guy be able to breathe easier. We will be praying for Jax (as always).
