This and that

First of all I have to thank everyone that jumped in to help with our huge blankie load that came in. Either in donations or material, or your hands to help crochet. A huge thanks to Kristen, Heidi, Wendy, Alicia, and the Taylors. A special thanks to Barbara, who is the blankie queen that helps me so much. To Kristi and Julie, and the girls at the lab that help crochet the blankies. I picked up the rememberance blankies, and let me tell you they are beautiful. I'm very proud of them, and I'll post pics when they are completely done.

Here's a couple of new blankie recievers. Too cute.



And it is with great sadness that I announce that sweet baby Harley Jane has earned her angel wings. One of my favorite blankies to make, and a sweet little chubba baby. Pray for her young parents right now. Her story is also on the blankie blog.


My little munchkin seems to think that its time to wake up at 3:00 in the morning, and then sleep till 11:00. Sorry baby, your not a teenager yet. I tried to wake his little butt up this morning to try and break this habit. I put him on his changing table and changed his diaper. And he still continued snoozing away. Little stinker.


And I'm happy to say that me and daddy finally had a much needed date on Saturday night. We went to the RV show to dream about the RV we will someday have. And went to dinner. Oh it was relaxing.

    cute pics of the kids with their blankies, so happy that everyone has jumped in to help so you can share even more of your wonderful blankets.
    Oh Jaxson you and Junior are pulling the same stunt. He was up in the middle of the night and thinks he should be able to sleep the day away.

    Those pictures are precious. And what gorgeous blankets.
    We went through that same thing with Isabelle for a while. I'm not sure what even finally ended it, but it did finally end. So there is hope!
    What a cutie your little man is! I bet he is tons of fun to love.

    What a stinker, but a cute one. gotta love him!!! Glad you got a date night. We do that too, dreaming about an RV that is.hehe.Love to all

    BTW, Lacey, those blankets are so beautiful and although some stories don't have a happy ending I'm sure you bring so much comfort to the parents. God Bless your works.

    I am so glad you guys got a date night! My husband and I get one this coming Saturday, before Peanut's surgery on Tuesday. It will definately be well deserved!

    I love seeing all the kids with their new blankies. We love ours. :) I have some pink fabric, I don't know if it's flannel or not? I'm going to wash it and mail it to you just in case it will work for you. Can you email me your address? waffle1313 @ gmail.com

    Ashlea quite likes a sleep-in too - I have to wake her otherwise she'd stay up late and then sleep late every day (she gets that from her dad I think!).

    Hello! I haven't ever commented here and for that I apologize. (I don't THINK I have anyway). I just stopped by again today and felt like I needed to let you know that I AM praying for Jaxson and my heart goes out to you. I have placed Jaxsons button on my blog so my friends can be praying for him as well. (also I stole one of your CHD awareness buttons...is that okay? ;)) If not, not a problem.

    It's nice to dream.
    Me, I've been living in my "dream" RV for the past four years, ever since V was born and I had to leave my job. I'm ready for a new dream. You can have mine.. lol.

    Its so wonderful what you are doing with the blankies, these children are all so precious and deserving, little angels.
    Jaxson looks so unbelievably cute lying there, looks like he parties all night, totally exhausted!!!! Keeping Jaxson in my prayers always.

    Glad that you got some help with the Blankies! Keep up the great work!

    Glad that you were able to get out with your hubby too! This is a must every once in awhile! So, did you pick out your RV? Sounds like a great dream!

    Tell that stinker, Jax, that he better start sleeping some normal hours! Mommas can't get through our days without good sleep! I love that picture of him sleeping on the changing table! Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to sleep that soundly?! There is another dream to add to your list! :)

    I just sat and cried over all the blankie stories! How awesome. so we want to do a big blankie project for our Christmas this year. Instead of a ton of toys for each other, we decided to put our money time and talen to use and deliver a whole bunch of blankies on Christmas!!!
    You know, P's been up at 1 and 3 lately...what's the deal. Maybe they made a deal to sleep deprive us when he was up here !:)
    Yes, it rained ALL saturday night on us, but we stayed dry and somewhat warm. P was a trooper and we had a couple cool hikes. Next summer, we'll have to go play more in the mtns! :) Keep in touch with me on Friday!
    Oh - so glad you got to go on a date...woohooo!
