Jaxsons blankies are back!

I am ready to continue with Jaxsons Blankies for Babes! I took a much longer than expected break, but I'm missing buying the material, and crocheting my blankies. I've pulled out the ones I put up before we went to Ukraine, and I will finish those first.

If you don't know what the blankie project is, I started making blankies for children with life threatening illnesses. Jaxsons blankies were always a great comfort while he was in the hospital, and I knew they would be great for other children. We sent out just under 200 blankies to kids so far, in 6 different countries!! Here is the video I made to give you an idea of what we do! The button on our sidebar will take you to the website where you can see some of the kids. Can't wait to get started again. And if you want to help in any way, donate material, or if you crochet around blankies, let me know! I appreciate any help!

  4. I crochet but don't sew..do you have a pattern for the blankets? I have been thinking about trying to crochet some blankets to give to the hospital, we love the one Hannah had gotten at Christmas while inpatient.

  5. Hi Lacey, you don't need to post this comment but I would love to donate material. Will you email me and let me know? I think I live close to you, I am in south Jordan or I can mail some flannel to you. Thanks. Mindyburt@msn.com
