Hoping for a good nights sleep...finally!

I love my new blog, thanks to the polka dot pig! I don't do my own blogs, I'm such a computer nerd, if I even tried I would end up deleting all my stuff. So I leave it to the experts.
Guess who slept in their clothes last night?

Yup, a naughty, not-sleeping little boy. He fell asleep on the floor and I wasn't going to risk waking him up. Tonight we have our first night with a nurse. And it couldn't have come at a better time. This is how my night last night went.
I went to bed around 10:30. I layed in bed and stared at the ceiling, always thinking I was hearing Jax, until 12:30. Then I did hear Jax, I was up with him until 2:00.(one nice thing about having a chair in his room now, I can sit down while I'm waiting for him to go back to sleep!) I finally went to sleep for the first time that night at 2:00. 4:00 he was up again, and I was back up with him, I don't even remember when I went back to bed that time. Daddy got up for work around 5:45. Thats been a typical night for me for the last month.
I'm just hoping tonight I can turn off my mommy beacon and just sleep.
I'll let you know how it goes in the morning.
Night, night!!

  3. Sweet dreams...I am praying that as I write this, you are already sleeping peacefully. LOVE the new blog look. When I first opened it, I had to think for a second whose blog I was reading. Love the 3 progressive pics at the top and especially that smiling one at the end. I know the trach can be a pain for you but it really is nice to see his face without the oxygen tubes!!

  4. I love the new blog, I know what you mean about being a computer nerd, I just stick to the very basics, and that mean changing the picture and and the background, oh no nothing more adventurous for me!!
I hope with the night nurse you get some sleep now and feel more human the next day!! I love Jax's sleeping pictures, he always looks so cute in them, like a little angel, one would hardly think he's been keeping you up that much!!

  11. Lacey, I am in LOVE with your new blog look! It is so light and fresh. :) It looks really fast as well.

On to Jax. Little man, mama needs to sleeeeep! I hope that the nursing tonite helps and makes you feel comfortable. Remember that it can take a few tries to find a nurse you mesh well with. I hope the first one is perfect!

  13. Your blog looks great!! I hope you can start getting some sleep with the nursing. The chair that we have is called a childrite. It's very overpriced, but I was able to get it for $50 less at bumboseat.com.
