We don't check in to the hospital until 1:15. I wanted to let everyone know that so you don't worry when you don't get an update.
Thank you everyone for your words of encouragment and emails. I know its my friends, near and far, that carry me through rough times with Jax. I love you all and wish I could someday meet everyone.
I am anxious to get this over with. Jax had his worst night in a week, maybe thats Gods way of reasuring me that Jax needs this. I couldn't keep his saturations up to save my life. Oh I think this trach will be a Godsend in disguise.
Dear Lacey, This is Joyce. I am praying all goes well with the trach placement today. I pray too those sweet little babbles come back soon. He is just so precious. Be strong Jaxson. I'm sure Sarah will be checking in as soon as she gets home.

ReplyDeleteI will be thinking of you and Jax today. He is an adorable little boy.
ReplyDeleteI have visited your blog several times by way of Gavin's and Lillian's blogs. I just wanted to stop lurking today and let you know that you and sweet Jaxon are in my thoughts and prayers today. My daughter has had a trach for 2/12 years. I love the previous post where you are savoring his sweet voice. That was one of the hardest things for me to deal with when we decided my daughter needed a trach. But soon, she was able to make noise around the trach and eventually was able to tolerate a speaking valve and even a cap.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and praying for you today.
Good luck
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and of Jax and many many prayers are coming your way! May God be close to you and give you the strength to get you through with no stress at all. Jax be strong too for your mom, she is always by your side.

ReplyDeleteHey Lacey,
ReplyDeleteplease know we are praying so hard for you and Jaxson. He is going to do just great and will be home very soon! I know this is hard, I remember two weeks ago when I had to hand off Drew for his shunt surgery... I was alone and spent most of my time in the chapel.. You have a ton of people praying for Jaxson and I know God hears our prayers. Looking forward to hearing an update.. BIG BIG huggles to you!!! Stay strong :)
Oh Lacey! I so hope everything goes well today. Bella has started to make a sound! We are thrilled. She got hers in May. Hopefully, Jaxson won't be far behind us in the sound department.
ReplyDeletepraying....
Lacey you are a rock and I know that Jaxson is going to make it through this thing just fine. Stay strong and now that when you feel weak when you are afraid and can't go on Jesus carries you. He is always with you and will never leave you nor forsake you. Heavenly Father, I pray peace upon this family today Lord. I ask that you guide the surgeon's hands Lord and give them the knowledge and the wisdom to do what they need to do successfully. Thank you for Jaxson's family that loves him so very much and has been the backbone in his success so far. Let them know how much you care and how you are always there when we need you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. God Bless You!
