Quick update

I just wanted to hurry and update everyone on Jax. He's doing great, I really think all the prayers help. This is the fastest he's ever recovered after surgery. I can tell his tummy is really sore. So loratab helps that. We are half way to his goal of 42 cc an hour continous. He should be up to full feeds tonight, and if he tolerates that then we are out of here tomorrow. Ok I'm going to go eat now because I'm starving. Lacey

  2. Lacey, I just read the comment you left on Parker's blog. I gotta tell you that I felt it was a bit snarky, but after coming and seeing what you are in the middle of with Jax I understand a bit better.

I did a pretty good job nailing Rep. Dougall down on some of his Medicaid issues. His wife was pretty angry at first that I had been so rude both in my blog and my email to him.

The bottom line is that Sandy made a heartfelt offer to Parker. Reading about a kid and then actually meeting him are huge differences.

No, I don't think anyone could expect Sandy to fund raise for every kid. Although she does a lot of advocating for those who are living at the American Fork Training Center.

No one person can solve this issue. It will take individuals, families, communities and more. Sandy is indeed trying to make an effort.

And I am certainly not going to be rude to a person who is offering her help to keep Parker alive.

BTW, where is a picture of the cute little man on this update?! I need my daily fix of cuteness from him you know! He is just too precious! I'll let it slide this time, I guess. :) Take care!
