Princess update

Sorry its so late, my phone was dying, so I hate to wait until I got home to post. She was supposed to go back at 1:30, but they were behind (of course) so we sat in pre-op until 3. Me and Ray were starving!
She did beautifully, her ABR shows perfect hearing, and she came out of the OR wide awake and pissed! She has major strider, so they are going to watch for airway swelling tonight. They've given her some steroids to try and avoid that. Daddy is sleeping with her tonight, and hopefully he'll email the pics we took today from his laptop.
I told him to keep on the nurses with her pain meds. They didn't write for morphine, and they don't like to give loratab unless they eat something. Well duh, they aren't going to eat too much after tonsils come out. So if she continues to cry, he will ask for an order for morphine. She won't touch milk or anything yet, so hopefully she will by morning so we can go home.
Our Ukrainian princess is a rockstar! I guess I always assume the worst, because thats what Jax likes to pull!
Thanks for all your prayers!

Love the new header by the way and that is great news. I'm hoping she has a peaceful night. I've been thinking of her all day after the HORRIBLE deal we went through with Beau for his T & A.

YEAH, was thinking about you this morning but didn't have time to check in before Alayna's toddler class. Glad all went well. Hope she is enjoying some jello and ice cream today and living it up like the princess she is!
