I have another award to pass on but I will do that one tomorrow.
Ok there you go. Now question for everyone. Today my autistic son Tanner got an award at school. They will give it to all the kids eventually, for work done at school. Well he's really been struggling at school this year. He's gotten farther behind, and I have to fight him every day to go. So when she announced his award she said it was for spelling. And the words he spelled were cat, bat, etc. I was kind of embarrased for him, because those are kindergarten words, not second grade words. And even though I know he's not there yet, and I don't mind that. I didn't know if it should be announced to everyone what words he was spelling. Is that me being selfish and embarassed for myself? Let me know what you think. I think I'm just frustrated at how difficult he has been this year.

Here's a pic of Jax for your daily fill. Ha Ha

I would be upset a little too about the whole word thing. It should have just been for spelling and left at that.

We dealt with that alot with Dakota. He would actually get embarrassed.

Thanks for the award. As for shopping I will call you. Can't go till after the 21st though. That's Andy's next pay day. :D

Thanks for the award! And, Thanks for the picture of Jax! :) He makes me smile!

Having children that struggle and are behind their grade level is SO difficult! Our oldest has struggled a lot with school and it's never easy. It can also be embarassing for us and him. I get so frustruated sometimes, not only with him, but his teachers that don't always seem to understand. You're not alone with this. Just remember that God made our children just the way they were meant to be!

Thank you! I love the pic, his little eyes are just beautiful! Phenny would love any material! He's been getting into Mickey Mouse Club House here lately, but would love anything.
Thank you so much for doing this for Phoenix!

Okay here is my first thought, Cody was in 4th grade and was really struggling with reading and spelling so they put him in a special reading class and he is currently in the 7th grade and we still have him in a remedial reading class. When he was in 4th grade, the teacher gave him a different list of spelling words so that he would succeed and build his confidence.

I think it is wonderful that he is getting a spelling award but I think for the sake of keeping his self esteem and confidence up, it should only be announced as a Spelling Award.

Good luck and let us know what happens.

Wow!! my first award too. Thank you Lacey and yeah, why did they have to announce those words. That didn't sound very necessary.

I agree, it should just have been a spelling award and they should not have listed what he spelled.
Very cute pic of Jaxson.

To answer your question about the keto diet. Junior is on KetoCal formula and we add ProViMin powder to it also(he had trouble with protein levels being too low). Does Jaxson use that same formula?

Ha! I tagged you back! Am I allowed to do that? I promise you don't have to award 10 more people. I just wanted to throw you up on my blog again. :)
